Tom Parker Creamery has added a new item to its lineup, the Golden Milk ready-to-drink beverage. Packaged in a 500 ml bottle, the drink blends turmeric, cinnamon, honey and black pepper. The launch marks the company’s first foray into a turmeric-based offering and targets shoppers who look for convenient, health-oriented drinks.
The brand says the formulation was created with well-being and health-focused consumers in mind. It uses free-range British whole milk. Inspiration came from the traditional Indian turmeric beverage, which the creamery adapted for a cold-chain, shelf-stable format.
Business Strategy
This initiative fits within the Somerset-based creamery’s broader plan to carve out a distinctive niche in the added-value and functional dairy drinks segment. By emphasizing natural ingredients, botanicals and items linked to health and wellness, the firm hopes to capture growing consumer interest in such products. The company’s approach taps into the rising consumer appetite for botanicals and functional beverages, positioning dairy as a natural carrier for health-focused ingredients.

Rob Yates, chief executive of the brand, explained that consumers are increasingly looking for more from everyday food and drink, while also demanding products made with recognizable natural ingredients. He added that dairy is well positioned to meet both trends. He described the new beverage as a simple, tasty option that can be served chilled straight from the refrigerator or gently warmed, creating an additional occasion for whole milk beyond the traditional breakfast table. Yates highlighted that the drink’s versatility, enjoyed chilled or warmed, creates new consumption moments beyond breakfast, such as an afternoon pick-me-up or a soothing evening treat.
The drink carries the signature look of the wider range, featuring a glass bottle topped with recyclable paper labels.
