Screwfix has expanded its on-demand delivery service, Screwfix Sprint, to 600 stores across the UK. This move gives over 62% of the UK population access to rapid delivery of tools and materials.
Faster Delivery for Tradespeople
Screwfix Sprint costs £4.99 per order with no minimum spend. The company aims to complete most deliveries within 60 minutes. This expansion follows strong demand, with tens of thousands of customers using the service so far this year, reflecting its popularity among busy tradespeople.
Max Britten, Screwfix managing director for the UK and Ireland, highlighted the importance of convenience for tradespeople. “We know how important convenience is for our busy trade customers,” he said, emphasizing the service’s role in saving time and improving efficiency.
Partnership and Growth
The expansion to 600 stores builds on Screwfix Sprint’s growth since its 2021 launch. By May 2025, the service had reached nearly 500 stores.
Screwfix has been investing in faster delivery and collection options as part of its strategy to improve convenience for both trade professionals and DIY shoppers. This includes a marketing campaign featuring Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah to promote its delivery and collection services, further boosting awareness and engagement.
Screwfix’s Convenience Campaign
Screwfix launched a campaign titled Screwfix Convenience to promote its rapid delivery and collection services. The initiative, developed with M+C Saatchi Group UK, aimed to raise awareness of Screwfix Sprint, Click & Collect, and Check-In options. It emphasized the speed of these services, including Click & Collect in as little as one minute.
The campaign built on Screwfix’s existing ‘No Stopping You’ brand platform, highlighting its commitment to convenience for trade professionals and DIY shoppers. This effort aligns with the retailer’s strategy to enhance fulfillment services, enabling customers to access products quickly without visiting stores.
